Community involvement is important for our company. Most of our staff have been young men and women from our surrounding communities. How could we not support and give back to the community when the community never hesitates to contribute to our efforts. Although, our primary focus is perfecting the Italian ice we serve, we reach into the community by providing financial literacy courses, motivational speaking, entrepreneurship workshops, internships, and more.

Lou is the father to three sons. Here is a little fact, two of his son’s nicknames are how he created the name for the business , CocoCrissi. Carmelo “Coco” and Cristian “Crissi” – CocoCrissi Tropical Icees was established in Raleigh, NC in the spring of 2009.
